Re: Garage brewing

This is starting to sound really expensive and will have to rethink making my garage into a brewing room and into a tasting room instead. Re: Garage brewing

My garage at one point was used as a bedroom. So, all I would have to do to make it back to a room is add one wall with a door along with some kind of flooring (tile or carpet). Heat is a problem because it's cold there and is the coldest room in my house. We don't have a heater or A/C but if needed...

Garage brewing

Has anyone converted their garage to a brewing room? What are the pros and cons of converting a garage into a brew house?

Re: New members

Hi Dan, I really appreciate all the help you and everyone has given me. We used safale yeast s-04 for this batch. The temperature range given on the Fermentis website is a very generous 59 to 75 degrees F. Right now it's at 65 degrees and from what I understand it should be fine. I just may have to ...

Re: New members

The temperature in the closet where I am storing my carboy is around 63 degrees and will drop during the night. I put a blanket on it to try to keep it from getting too cold. I'm not sure on what to do or if I should do anything at all.

Thank you and have a great Christmas.
