Thanx, again, Jon - for being such a gracious host.
Too bad it rained, tho. Woulda liked to have seen more newbies.

If you consider steeping the specialty grain as partial, the answer is yes.

I have one VIP ticket available. We got two for one, so it's $28. Let me know!

Re: Hop Rhizomes
Hey Dan,
Missed you at Casitas.
The hop plant parts I got from you are stirring! They aren't at 10 feet, but they all have leaves poking up through the soil. I need to get some string up, they seem to be moving fast.
I'll keep ya posted.
Thanx!

Re: Miller's B3 Grain Mill
I'll be interested in the motorization part of it. Just received and assembled my 3 roller Monster with S/S 1.5" rollers and 1/2" shaft. Too bad it didn't have the new-fangled adjuster like they are showing in the magazine ads...

Re: Ball Valve in Kettle/Do you have a drill?
I have the knockout punch. It makes a hole a bit bigger than I think you want, I've had some minor drips. I also have the Step bit, which seemed to work well when I installed the sight glass. I'd almost recommend using the step drill, but you are welcome to use both.

Look into Hamilton's Tavern. We went to a Stone Tap Takeover there once, it was GREAT!

My Pops lives in El Cajon. After a typical visit, I will leave his place and head over to Alpine. From there, there are several routes you can take to hit most of the more popular places. Alpine Beer Company also has a diner, good eats!
