LA County Fair entry

Hi Guys, Got a quick question. I have a Rye Whiskey aged Russian Imperial Stout I would like to submit to the LA County Fair. I added vanilla beans and cacao nibs to this beer during the aging process in the barrel. In looking at the categories, I'm trying to determine if I should enter it as a wood...

Thanks guys. The cacao nibs and peppers definitely stand out the most with hints of cinnamon and vanilla.

Experimental or Sweet Stout?

Hello Everyone, I have a sweet stout I brewed a few months ago that I would like to submit to the OC Fair. I'm just not sure what category to submit in. It has several of the characteristics of a sweet stout including lactose, cacao nibs, some roasted and chocolate malts, but I also added a few othe...

Cascade Rhizomes

Hey guys, I ordered some rhizomes this year as I'm going to attempt to grow hops this year. It's seems like they shipped me an extra pair of Cascade rhizomes that I don't have the room to use. Would anyone like to have them?

My concern is that I may overdo it and have too much oxygen in the wort. I would appreciate any suggestions you g...
