I didn't find it too expensive as we knew the set price and beer other that they served was extra. For a once a year deal it was a nice treat out. Hadn't heard about it. Is ...

Re: OC Beerfest 2011 .. tomorrow!
My wife and I attended last weekend’s beerfest and thought it was just so, so. In my opinion it was over crowded for the small venue where they held it at. I just received an email for Septembers Brew ha, ha which I listed the website below.

Re: Anderson Valley Boont Amber ale - extract brewing
I tried it about two weeks ago and felt that the warmer the beer got the better the taste was. I hope that is just because it is still young.

Re: Heineken
For my 40th birthday my wife took me to Amsterdam where we visited the Heineken brewery. We both left there feeling as though we were in a Heineken commercial. The beer was ok but as far as brewery tours go this was by far the worst. I do have to say if you were stoned, which in Amsterdam is legal, ...

I love this place and love their beer selection. I read that they are going to expand and start brewing their own beer. I can't wait for this to happen.

Re: Your first competition
Thanks brahn! I'd been brewing for a little over 2 years when I entered my first comp. I really only entered because spkrtoy and Patrick tasted my beer and encouraged me to enter. I won BOS ... it's all been downhill from there. :) Personally, I only enter beers into competitions if I think they're ...
