Re: Dry Hopped Lips
With all the beer events I went to last year I was able to give my wife about 8 Sierra NV lip balm sticks. She loves them and says it's mint as well as hops. Dry lips? Like Hops? http://www.sierranevadagiftshop.com/sierra-nevada-natural-lip-balm.html I just saw this, so sorry if everyone already kno...

Cascade is a must
Hair of the Dog
Deschutes
Belmont Station
Bailey's Tap Room
The first 3 are breweries the other 2 are beer bars

Portland, Oregon beercation
My brother in law and I are heading out to Portland, Oregon mid-April and would like any recommendations on which breweries to hit and which to skip. Also, I will need places to find some good grub to eat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Kegerator needs regulators
Wow, that is an amazing set up you have there. OK ... here is the "overkill" situation. My kegerator has 4 regulators and 4 manifolds. You can see the regs here and the manifolds here. I keep 3 separate pressures for serving and 1 for carbing. I have shut off valves on each individual CO2 ...

Re: Kegerator tripple tap
I guess I must have been really good this year as Santa brought me this:
Nostalgia Electrics - Kegorator Twin-Tap Beer Keg Fridge - Stainless-Steel
I hope it's a good one since I didn't see any reviews.

Re: Merry Christmas!
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas as well and I was very pleased to see that Santa found me to be a good boy. I am now the proud owner of a stainless steel dual tap kegerator along with a gym membership. Starting to think they were both from my wife and she thinks I’m a fat ass. Ha, ha So a...

Re: BJCP certification
Thanks for the info. I met some people at this year’s GABF and they told me about the site. They also told me how intense it is so I’m prepared for that. What I find funny is my class meets online once a week in the morning and I must have my beer ready to drink. There’s nothing better than having s...

BJCP certification
Has anyone used Beer Judge Education or Better Beer Scores for BJCP certification? I’m taking an online course in January and would like some feedback. Did you like it? Was it worth your time, etc.

Re: Kegerator tripple tap
Sorry, I just decided to "view your posts" and found this old one. Not sure how I missed it before but I am still looking for a kegerator and trying to talk the wife into letting me buy a new one or convert my 20 year old fridge into a kegerator. Thank you all for the posts and with my bir...

Re: Dead yeast help
It could be off and wouldn't doubt it by any means. After all I was on my second Bruery growler for the day. I'll try to stay sober and read the hydrometer properly next time but there are never any guarantees when I drink. ha, ha! I'm in the process of painting my game room and have all my books pi...
