Re: Looking for a brewmeister
RebelUnit, Your kegerator is very cool and I like the idea of introducing the art of Homebrewing to new people. However, there are some concerns that should be addressed before pouring free beer at a public gathering. Alcohol laws are strict and confusing. Will the drinking be confined to inside you...

Was that pneumatic or chain/pulley? Couldn't see it real well...

The hoist is rated up to 400 lbs so it should handle my needs.

Personal Forklift
So, the doctor said "NO LIFTING" for an undetermined time.
I need to move fermenter buckets and carboys so I came up with this.

Re: How to brew your own Beer
Yeah, that is really cool. I had interest in trying to step in for it, but since I'm traveling 4 days next week, my wife would have killed me if I left for this. That said, I'd be interested in working with Don to see how it was that he originally set this up, as it might be a cool thing for me to ...

Re: How to brew your own Beer
Awesome!
40 people, wow, that's a huge turnout.
Well, you broke some new ground for the club. Congratulations!
Maybe we can do similar presentations in the future.
Thanks Tony for representing the brewcommune and doing such a great job at the last minute.

Re: Beer Label shrink-wrap sleeves
Labor intensive and too expensive.
75 labels for $10
I get 600 shipping labels for $10. I'm not looking to win any competition for my labels, I just want people to know what is in the beer they are drinking.

Re: How to brew your own Beer
brewcommune got a mention in the O.C. Register!

I don't know where they came up with the part about making root beer. Maybe there is another speaker that they didn't tell me about.

Re: Bottle Bombs?
Hey all, Yesterday, I bottled my latest gruit beer and today I heard the first loud pop. Yup, bottle burst and made a mess everywhere. It has been a while since I used my bottling bucket and corn-sugar to carb, so did I get this wrong? I dissolved 5oz of corn-sugar in water, and added it to the 5.5...
