You can also try cutting the plastic tubing into two pieces about 1-1/2 long then place s/s or copper tube between pieces. The goal is to have a gap between metal tubing that is about 1/4" with plastic tubing acting like a flex joint. With gaps this small, tubing cannot crush

How are you storing grain? It may be picking up something that is less than desirable

I presume you are using a Better Bottle for fermentation so that should not be a problem. What sort of tubing are you using to rack?
Otherwise everything looks in order

Thanks for the tips! Brad, on your bright tank, how much shorter is the dip tube? And then you use CO2 to push the beer out that dip tube, and into the 'out' port on a normal corney? --lexuschris Chris Mine are cut 1/2" shorter and beer pours very clear PM me if you need a way to cut dip tubes

It is never too soon to start entering comps... I suggest you print proper labels and enter in AHB comp
