Re: PBW Group Buy

I'm in.

I talked to Scott about it a while back and his price on the big bucket was very good.

Re: BrewBrawl moving forward

Perhaps when you name your beer in Brew Brawl, just put the word "Feedback" in the title. Also, allot time to discuss the beer, if wanted.

Mr Pres, it's your job to keep order and our job to respect that. :-)

I'll get you some, but a pound will be optimistic. Give me a little over a week

Re: Looking for Specific Fruit for an Ancient Beer

Today is your lucky day. A few weeks ago, I spotted one in a friend's yard and was curious enough about it to look it up. How much are you looking for? They don't appear to have a ton of fruit.

Re: South OC non-meeting meetup

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've been to the Taps on Redhill, but still haven't tried the new Left Coast.

Re: All Things GrainFather

I have my chiller cooling a water bath and then a small flojet connected to an inkbird with the probe in the fermenter. Simple and works well. I used straight RV coolant from Wal-Mart and it hasn't been a problem.

C'mon Brad, it will be the only beer you can keep on tap for more than a week. That said, you should enter the wheat wine.

Ok, how about just the cooling unit for whatever it costs me to dump the carcass?

Free - Double door commercial fridge

I have a commercial fridge with working cooling unit. The fridge isn't worth restoring but the cooling unit would be great if you are building a chiller. The catch is you have to take it all. Let me know this week if you want it and I'll drop it off. I want my trailer cleared off by the weekend. Sev...

All Things GrainFather

Hi all, Since there are now 4 of us using these, I figured a separate topic about the GF would be a good idea. In addition to that, it's helpful to have a spare parts resource if you are stuck in a brew day with a broken lid, controller or pump. So, I'll start the discussion by showing off my set-up...

[s]Dang, looks like I missed it.[/s]

Decided to try from the desktop and was able to get some. It's cheap but I hope they aren't too nasty.
