Hey guys,
I bought an oxygen tank and have started using that to aerate the wort as it passes from the plate chiller to the fermenter. I've been trying to figure out a good rate of flow. My concern is that I may overdo it and have too much oxygen in the wort. I would appreciate any suggestions you guys may have.
Thanks,
Fred

I think it's pretty hard to actually get too much DO in wort. If I were doing inline aeration I would definitely want a sight glass inline after the stone to see the o2 flow.

I agree with Brent. It would be very difficult at the homebrew level to get an over abundance of O2 in your wort. If you are looking for a sight glass, the guys at Brewers Hardware would be glad to hook you up with one.

Using air and a pump it is almost impossible to over aerate
However, when using pure O2, it can be overdone causing issues later on
When brewing 11 gallons, I set flow regulator to .5 L/min then run for 2 minutes.
At end of two minutes, shut the valve off and let system bleed down
If you are brewing 5 gallons, try .5L/min for 1 minute
