I personally like to brew in the evenings. What about you?
Thanks.

Re: November Meeting
Excellent meeting! There was some PHENOMINAL beers. It was pretty cool to try the fermentation controlled SimBus. There was mixed reviews which was interesting. Everyone had different results. I'd like to thank Brad W. for the opportunity to do that experiment. I still think I like out of the park b...

Re: World's Strongest Beer?
I was wrong anyway in that I was being close-minded when I generalized all conservative republicans with the majority. Jward is among a growing movement in the conservative minority and I commend him for it. Some conservative republicans are now in favor of legalized taxation, regulation, and monito...

Re: New LBHS (for me anyway)
Buy it all, even if it is 5% more expensive than online. If the guy's only five percent more then he's worth supporting. I often save up to 40% online, including shipping and there's no gas or sales tax. Morebeer in Riverside matches their online prices but the tax is still 7.75%... Strangely enoug...

Re: World's Strongest Beer?
I know, dude! What's ur take on that? As much as I support legal pot, I think that having the legal right to use it for recreation might cause some problems with kids under 18 and conservative republicans? Has anyone checked to see if they survived their heart attacks?

Perfect! I'd like to offer you a Firestone Walker Double Jack DIPA. Up until recently it was my second favorite, but Knuckle Sandwich tastes differently to me lately, so now it's my favorite so far. It's exquisite! Grapefruit, malt and sweet, all at once. 9.5% ABV, But you'll never know it. 94 at be...

I'd love to trade a Head Hunter; 2 if you have them to spare.I've heard about em many times before. I have no clue what to trade, though. Please let us know what kinds you're interested in. Do they have stone, firestone walker, port brewing in Cleveland? 12oz'ers, right? [My username]1@gmail.com Goo...

Re: World's Strongest Beer?
It's federally illegal, but the states enforce local law. You need an alcohol license federally, but it depends on the state/county/city to decide or enforce whether or not you are distilling it. The problem lies in that the Feds have to have a reason to be in your house in order to press charges, u...

Re: World's Strongest Beer?
I edited my post cause I didn't type the "0" in 20. I was just going off what the guy told me and never really researched it beyond the thought. I appreciate your post. That's interesting. -173°F is the freezing point of alcohol, water is -32° so there's plenty of leeway there. Seems to me...

Re: Pump for cooling water
No garden hose? If so, you can also use two immersion chillers, the first being in the ice bath. I'm sure you already know that, but it's cheaper than a march or chugger pump. But great ideas, guys. Just make sure the pump you buy is capable of a vertical pressure well over the height of your kettle.
