Sounds good, and if anyone wants to volunteer to speak or help out we would appreciate it. Got a commitment for speeches from several smart club members and a couple of pro-brewers. Waiting to hear from White Labs if they want to participate.

Should be fun.

Teach a friend to homebrew day

Hey guys. Have talked to you guys in a while, been busy. Anyway, don't know what you guys have planned for the AHA teach a friend to homebrew day, but we are going to be putting on an event in Murrieta. I can send you guys more details once we finalize the planning, but here are the basics. Jim Frit...

The cooler is mounted to the side, which is metal so that helps. Good idea on the thermal mass, didn't think about that. I was looking at adding another trans cooler, but I may just pick up a 10' length of copper tube and bed in up and mount it in horizontal passes on the back wall of the working fr...

Building a Ferment Chamber out of a dead freezer

Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I am using the working freezer in a stand up fridge to cool a glycol bath which supplies glycol to a trans cooler in a dead chest freezer I am going to use as a ferment chamber. Got the inspiration from a NB thread. http://tvhbajoomla.temeculahomebrewer...

OK, so the 12th is not going to work for me. Brad is going to send me a list of emails and I will add them to an invite for Sat the 5th of April. Responding will give us an idea of how many people can make it or not. The invite will be coming from a google calendar.

While reporters tend to paraphrase and miss parts of the story, you guys got a pretty good write-up. Crongrats! A few of us sat with the reporter and his wife for 2 hours at Barley and Hops. They were both real nice people, and barely came across as reporters at all. Plenty of beer was consumed. We...

Pat has come back with April 5 and April 12. How does that sit with the rest of the BC boys?

BTW, we made the paper. Front page even.

Revisiting this. We talked at the meeting and April will be a better month for us, and will give us all a chance to plan something. We are doing a club mass brew for the fest in March. So I sent a PM to Pat and I will work with him to arrange the bruery tour, but what would be a good weekend for the...

How stable is the stand with the castors on it like that. When I built mine I worried about putting castors on and it being unstable with weight on it. I am planning on puttin my in a semi permanent location, but I was wondering anyway.

I'll have to check what campsites we have I'll have to check. We should definitely plan on partying at the fest. I have a gas stub in the backyard that I have my grill hooked up to. Right now my backyard is all mud and in the front I have a nice new driveway. Plus the line in the backyard is 1/2&quo...

Thanks Lyn, I may hit you up for the shielding.

We are going to the fest. We have 5 sites reserved as a club but I don't know how many people are going yet. I am going to be talking to Jim(2007 president) about it Sat. We have a few people that aren't going due to the new location.
