You should be fine with any light colored pilsner malt, like this: Zymurguy's Pilsner Malt.

That's surprising that they'd consider it. As much as I'd like to bring my son's PW50, that much beer and machines just don't mix.

I thought they ruled that out at the first meeting, no?

The same could be said for Angels Share and if they sell it all, you could say it's underpriced.

Yep, I won't be buying any at that price but to hear that rant from someone who has a bottle of Utopias doesn't make much sense either.

As a general rule, the higher the alcohol, the better it ages.

Even if they don't have it on tap they are sure to have something good. I'd say it's one of the best places to get a good beer in OC, if you can get there before they close (which is tough for me).

Make sure the grain was milled right on that B3 Porter kit.

Age it to taste or as long as your patience allows. If it's good, itcan be hard to let it age. :)

I got the 2 roller mill with 1/2 shaft.

It looks very similar to the C&S, but we can do a side by side sometime. One thing I liked about this one is that the adjustment is done on both sides so (theoretically) you aren't causing stress on the bushings by turning the roller sideways.

I guess I never posted that I got the Monster Mill for my b-day, but that's old news now. Anyway, I mounted it on Sunday and milled 26 pounds without issue. I also want to give props to my Christmas present (Ryobi lithium ion rechargeable drill) which made it through with plenty of charge left over.

Brew-bitches are a form of automation and you should be ashamed.
