Re: Pin-lock post remover
Everything you need to know about soda kegs. http://www.dresselbrew.com/Keg_Info.htm Well geez Kevin, why'd you have to give me everything I need to know? I only asked for some of it! j/k Awesome reference site, thanks! Did I mention how much I like my ball-lock kegs? Yeah, I'd have to agree, and I...

Pin-lock post remover
Any advice on how to cheaply assemble/disassemble a pin-lock keg? I know they have special sockets at B3 for $15, but that seems a bit silly in price for what you're getting. I hear you can get a spark plug wrench and cut slots in at the apexes so maybe I'll have to try that. I'm sure Big Lots or ma...

What is the size of a corny keg opening/lid?
Yeah, what I said in the subject. Sorry I'm on a business trip to San Jose and can't go measure my own. I've been looking at a few herb ball options for dry hopping in the keg and was wondering how big I could go.
I wonder if this would fit in the opening...

Re: Adding wine yeast to a stuck ferment
Okay, been pretty busy (Sorry Brad for bailing on the brew day :( ), but some good things have happened as well. At least temporarily, I have a second fridge in the garage and am now crash cooling this brew and am planning to transfer it to a keg (yes I said keg, WOOT!!) this weekend. My question is...

Re: bottom of the barrel?
Alright, good to know. Thanks! I got 3/4 of a pitcher for 1/2 the price of a normal so I call it a good deal. To bad that was the only real good beer on tap though.

bottom of the barrel?
So I just got served the final dregs of a commercial Sam Adams keg (Little more than half a pitcher).and I was wondering if there are any negatives to the bottom? Taste/feel across the tongue feels a little dryer.

Re: Coors light home tapper
Pretty interesting. If you can get past this... There's a problem. The spike that pierces the CO2 cartridge and is fluted to allow the CO2 to go into the tap is not hard fixed to the tap. It sits, loosely, in a rubber O ring. The neck of the cartridge I have is just a bit wider than the original and...

I'm sure Derrin will speak up here in a bit, but check out this old post where he was selling his old rig which he built. 20 gallon Brewery For Sale (again) Derrin is now building a bigger err... smaller badder setup ( Linky ) that better fits his needs. Point is, I'm sure you will get some good adv...

Re: Heading to Oregon
Brahn posted this link to a similar inquiry in January which really helped. I was only able to hit Widmer Brothers as I had some suits in tow. IIRC they only do tours on weekends, but then that doesn't sound like it will be a problem for you. I was surprised by their wide variety of micro brews sinc...
