airlock blow out need help!!

so 2 days ago i brewed a mw cologne kolsch and like a dumb ass i used a 5 gallon carboy thinkin it was a small enough beer i wouldnt have a problem. so a word to the wise dont primary in a 5 gallon carboy! so what r the chances of an infection?not sure when it happened it was fine when i left to wor...

cologne kolsch from midwest

brewed the kolsch from midwest supplies last night and did a late addition of half of the extract. stoked on this one it will be nice to have a brew you cant normally find around here!!

i have a beerquarium every time i ferment i just sit there once in a while and watch my little yeasties swim around eating up all that good wort turning it into beautiful beer :lol:

sorry bro i thought you meant an aquarium heater that actually goes into the (water)wort.my bad yea if you put it in a tub or something that would work as well.i personally wouldnt worry about the ferm temp here in cali. its always warm enough to ferment ales here.

i guess you could use an aquarium for your beerquarium.just make sure and sanitize it and figure out a way to still seal the carboy maybe take a notch out of the bung.

been brewing for a while. i have only done extract thus far but hope to eventually move to ag. i live in old town orange.i have done just about every kind of beer and currently have a couple batches of mead going as well.

hello folks glad to find this forum. i have been on midwest supplies forum forever and i finally found a local one!!
