Stainless thermowell for sale ... $5 plus shipping. 1/2" MPT Threads. I bought this from St Pats and turned it down to reduce the thermo mass (for faster response). I'm not sure what the treads are on the smaller nut ... I do know that a Ranco sensor fits quite nicely .. so anyone looking to upgrade a thermowell for cheap ... let me know.
