Now, who's got one for this? (Pete, Pete, Bueller..........)

The club will pay for shipping and entry fee, so let's KICK some ASS!, please!
I'd like to see our club at least get a place and a line in Zymurgy as well as points for homebrew club of the year. We're a long way from winning but it takes a concerted effort from all club members to make and enter each of these COC's and in the future we hope to do everyone doing every style to make it. Baby steps now, giant leaps later.

Damn, the Lakers blew it tonight. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeshhh :(

Cheers,
Lyn

I've got a cyser I could put in for the club - how many bottles are needed? At 2 years, it's STILL a little a young tasting to me (i had one the other night) but it's not bad imo.

Well if it is to be a mead .. I'll certainly defer to the master. However, I'm willing to serve up some of the strawberry melomel that took a gold at the international mead fest.

Lemme know!

Bump.

We have 2 weeks to decide who's cat. 24, 25 or 26 mead will go forward. Note, we have not placed yet in any COC, and to be considered, it would be nice to have a "world Class" example of the style to enter as even an excellent mead probably won't have a chance, so if we don't have this one, we'll need to be brewing for the future ones!
Cheers,
Lyn

My cyser isn't as good as Petes but I'll submit a bottle or two if needed. Just let me know.

Ithink it's just mead, no other cyser/melomel/pyment/metheglin's.
don't have my style guidelines handy right now.

Lyn

Yeah, I did not have my guidelines handy, sorry for the faux paux. Me not mead worthy.

I guess this one's gonna be a waste of mead and money, so save your mead's for Pac Cup and next years AHA!

I cannot seem to find anything listed for LA county fair yet (I believe it's the next comp locally) but if I do, I'll post it up.
Cheers,
Lyn

I'll see about judging at the Pac Brewers Cup and LAC Fair. I did the Pac Brewer's Cup last year, and will judge the LAC Fair if I can this year. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the announcements.

Cheers,

Pete
