bottom of the barrel?

Post by JonGoku »

So I just got served the final dregs of a commercial Sam Adams keg (Little more than half a pitcher).and I was wondering if there are any negatives to the bottom? Taste/feel across the tongue feels a little dryer.

Cheers!

None. Papazian says there are lots of vitamins in the bottom.

On a commercial lager, I doubt it's any different than the top of the barrel.

Papazian would be talking about homebrew.

Is there a difference? Maybe if the commercial is filtered instead of bottle conditioned...

Alright, good to know. Thanks! I got 3/4 of a pitcher for 1/2 the price of a normal so I call it a good deal. To bad that was the only real good beer on tap though.
