I found this cool little bar in santa ana. i think it's on broadway and fourth, in the artist's village district. they've only got about 8 beers on tap, and about 20-25 in bottles, but it's only been open about 5 months, and all their beers are rare imports and unusual beers. the owner, devin, assured me they were going to be doubling their menu within the month. it's in a basement, and the whole place as a cool dark ages motif. it looks like a scene out of beowulf or lord of the rings. the place has a giant slab of wood for a table in the center of the room. must be 30 yards long. and the staff knows and loves beer. to give you an idea for the feel of the place, one dude left because they don't carry bud light.
