eegads! your right!

Best to check Google maps before you go, and find an exit & street to avoid the main streets around the stadium.

See you all there!

Sorry, I did not get a chance to organize any food. :( My bad.

You should plan food on your own.

Great time last night, big thanks goes to Jerry for letting us meet at his place. It will be very cool once he gets fully up and running at that location. I loved that cold box!

Also thank you everyone for all the great beer that was shared. I particularly loved the old man winters that Don and Tim shared. I love sampling the same wort with multiple yeasts. Maybe we can convince Brian to let us give it another go. :D

We should also start a thread in the members section to figure out what to do with that barrel

I missed the meeting (in addition to all the usual excuses, I'm also stuffed up with a sinus cold), so obviously this is a discussion that I didn't get to be a part of.

But I like the sound of it

Wow gentlemen, the average abv of the night alone was astounding. Had a good time. Chad took a lot of pictures. Thanx to the guys at noble. I liked Scotts idea of logo bottle caps, and I had another one, logo growlers.

Thanks to all the veteran Brewcommies for welcoming me and another new face, Rico. I was a bit worried driving down there when I saw the Angels' game starting up. Traffic wasn't too bad as I exited but then as I followed my GPS towards Noble Ale Works in the industrial complex, I saw numerous police vehicles and police officers. A sign was posted on Sinclair St. about "scenarios in progress." Apparently the police academy utilizes that area for role playing and some policemen cadets were problem solving made-up scenarios.

I just didn't want to become an actually scenario as I was leaving the meeting.

I got there just past the starting time and saw more than a few familiar faces. The mood and atmosphere was relaxed and informal. Excellent brews were introduced and passed around, two of which was unforgettable. The Commune's Barley wine and the RIS. The barley wine tasted like a Scottish Ale but hotter. I like beer like my women. Strong and hot. This was incredible and goes to show that whatever you fellas did to secure that barrel was worth the money (10X).

The Russian Imperial Stout, I was told, was half "Black Tuesday." Crazy smooth and complex. Like an idiot, I gave myself a short pour and could only savor the black gold for a few minutes before it was gone. As a beginner, I don't have a huge vocabulary to describe how good it was. It's like eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup inside of a Krispy Creme Doughnut wrapped in funnel cake with drizzles of chocolate.

The location was pretty awesome. Very cool of Noble Ale Works to allow us there in the first place. Somebody must have connections. It's the largest and newest looking micro brewery in the area that I've been to and their "Nobility" Imperial IPA is GOOD. (Bought 2 bottles)

I appreciated the warm welcome from everyone, especially from Chris who chatted with me at the end of the night about his hop farming in Arizona. I hope to contribute and participate more in the future and hopefully get to know a few of the members. Here are some pics:
