Help legalize homebrew festivals

Post by lexuschris »

Hey all,

As many of you know, this year's Southern California Homebrew Festival was cancelled due to a mis-interpretation of recent law passed in Sacramento. The AHA and CHA have been working with legislators to craft AB2609, which will clarify the original law's language so that homebrew festivals will once again be allowed in California.

The California Homebrew Association request for help.

Please take a moment to read this quick link and email, fax and/or send a copy their letter to your local California State Senator. Sen. Lou Correa covers most of our club's geography and is head of the State Senate committee who will review AB2609.

Your efforts will help ensure the pouring of homebrew at next year's fest!

Thanks,

Great! Thanks Dan!

I've met Sen. Lou Correa several times on auto dealer business and he is a really good guy. Very pragmatic and I think he will see the need to clarify the language of the bill.
