The wife is working all day, so I will be able to sneak away and be there. Looking forward to seeing everybody. Rain is in the forecast, so I will try to remember to bring my EZ Up.

Thanks to everyone who attended the brew day yesterday. It was the best attended club brew day that I can remember in quite a while. In addition to my two batches, Curtis, Tony & Tim S. also brewed.
In attendance were: Josh1ne, brewnbbq, Samiam, BrianB, BrianC, rcwebrew, CurtisG, Pikagreg, WillL, Maltose Parrot, Megastout, maltbarley, BrewMasterBrad & BackhouseBrew.
I am a bit disappointed that only one of the people that RSVP'd through the AHA website showed up. I had one other who e-mailed that he couldn't make it, but another 4 were no-shows. Likely the weather played a big part in that.
Regardless, as a Brewcommune brew day, we had a great turnout and shared some good food and drinks.

Thanks for being a great host, Jon. Beyond the great food and drink, it's always fun to see what new gadget I really don't need, but must have, now (like a menu board LCD that reads cleaner than any bar).

Thanks Jon for hosting a great brew day. Thank the chef for the fantastic pulled pork sandwiches. Your homebrew selection and digital menu are very impressive. Nice to everyone again.

Totally agree with everyone. Jon, you were a gracious host with great food and beer. Couldn't ask for more. And, I picked up some good tips to improve my brewing endeavors. Thanks to all

I *seriously* need to get something better than my crappy chalkboard with my horrific handwriting that looks like I asked my 7-year-old to write the tap list.

LOL, I usually had my daughter writing mine so it was readable!bwarbiany wrote:Pic?maltbarley wrote:(like a menu board LCD that reads cleaner than any bar).

There's a group on HBT that started a program called RaspberryPints for the menu board. I took theirs and changed it up to be a landscape 2-column display instead of portrait, single column and then added in the ability to link my BCS temperature on-screen.

Thanx, again, Jon - for being such a gracious host.
Too bad it rained, tho. Woulda liked to have seen more newbies.
