Club Meeting - January 17, 2017 7:00 PM
Club Meeting – January 17th at Windsor Homebrew Supply – Costa Mesa 7:00 pm
Happy New Year!
The January 2017 meeting will be held at Windsor Homebrew Supply
Located at:
743 Baker St
Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Windsor Homebrewing is a fantastic homebrew shop. If you haven't had time to visit it yet this will be a great opportunity to check it out! If you have homebrew you wish to share or get feedback on, please bring that with you.
Unfortunately Windsor does not have food but Barley forge brewing and Gunwhale ales are across the street and a few members usually meet up before hand to grab a beer and a bite. I would also recommend bringing a chair.
Meetings are open to all Brewcommune forum members (paid and non-paid). If you are new to Brewcommune, please come out and introduce yourself.
Please post a reply here if you plan on attending!

Yes, please bring a chair. will do a blind tasting of white and black IPA samples.
As a note, Yesterday, brewed an American version of a south of the border Corn Beer. Vigorously fermenting now. Used a different technique of first wort hopping during sparge with only a 30 minute boil and whirlpool during cool down. Actual brew time was reduced to 3.5 hours. The jury is still out.

Looks like I will be able to make this meeting!
I just kegged a Sedona hopped Pale Ale, and it came out very clean. I'll bring a growler or two to share, and I plan on grabbing a panini at BarleyForge prior.
Looking forward to a great year!

Talked to Scott when i was at Windsor today and he said he has 32 chairs, so I don't think we need to bring any.
I have small taster cups for the blind tasting portion of the style presentation.

I will be there as well with a beer for the style presentation.
I will probably get there a little early to do some shopping at Windsor and grab a bite at Barley Forge and a pint or two at Gunwhale.

Have a few houses to look at and then should be on my way down there. Might be late, depending on what we find.

Great meeting again. Brad thanks for brewing a black IPA for the style presentation. It was hands down the best beer of the flight.

Great notes Greg.
Thanks Scott for hosting again! Very much appreciated.
I don't recall discussing the February club brew day. Has anyone volunteered yet?
