Club Meeting – July 18th at Windsor Homebrew Supply – Costa Mesa 7:00 pm

The July 2017 meeting will be held at Windsor Homebrew Supply

Located at:
743 Baker St
Costa Mesa, CA 92626
http://windsorhomebrewsupply.com/

Windsor Homebrewing is a fantastic homebrew shop. They have just expanded and are twice the size they were the last meeting. They also have expanded into a bottle shop and offer a variety of craft beers.

If you haven't had time to visit the new shop and see their selection of beer and ingredients this will be a great opportunity to check them out.

If you have homebrew you wish to share or get feedback on, please bring that with you.

Unfortunately Windsor does not have food but Barley forge brewing and Gunwhale ales are across the street and a few members usually meet up before hand to grab a beer and a bite.

Meetings are open to all Brewcommune forum members (paid and non-paid). If you are new to Brewcommune, please come out and introduce yourself.

Please post a reply or vote here if you plan on attending!

I plan on bringing a Citra blonde, a 100% huell melon (and hop rage) pale ale and maybe an american wheat beer.

I doubt I can make this one. Leaving on a fishing trip the next morning.

I am pretty sure I can make this one. If so, I am brining a saison and maybe a Belgian golden strong.

Will be there with style presentation. Don't know which, on return from the 2 month trip. Will get back to you.

The style will be beers that are highly carbonated and refreshing, with a light dry finish, fluffy texture, and high drinkibility. Appropriate for summer.
There will be open eye judging.

If anyone has an extra folding table that might come in handy. One of mine just broke. If not we can still make it work. See you tonight!

Fun meeting tonight! It was great meeting the newer members, and sampling their beers!

DT did a really nice style presentation on Weissebier too! Brad, you really missed out on it!

For those asking about the recipe for my Oat Pale Ale, I uploaded it. The recipe DB calculates the FG too high, as mine ended at 1.009... which I think is more accurate.

Thanks everyone for sharing your brews!
