May BrewCommune Club Meeting

Virtual Club Meeting – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 19th at your house.

Zoom Meeting link. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84234571302 Meeting will open at 6:00 PM to allow time to sort technical issues.

Style presentation will be Malt Liquor. Please make your way to any grocery/liquor/7-11 and pick up a bottle to follow along with Justin.

We will be continuing our support of local breweries with a bulk buy to occur near our May meeting date. Last month was a success with Skyland. This month we will be patronizing Unsung, a brewery that has been excellent to our club. How this works: Club members make an online purchase that is set aside with other members' purchases. I will head to Unsung and pick up the beers that will be available for pickup in Yorba Linda or Huntington beach. More info to come in a separate post.

Meetings are open to all Brewcommune forum members (paid and non-paid). If you are new to Brewcommune, please join the zoom meeting and introduce yourself.

Meeting update!: John Moorhead, Competition Manager for the American Homebrewers Association will be in attendance. John will discuss how the AHA is adapting in the current environment (as well as competition organization and judge training/sensory and some overview about the AHA). He will also be available for a Q&A at the end of his presentation.

YES, this was a real question! I don't really dabble in the malt liquor arts.
I have had none of these drinks before. Guessing the local Circle K carries an assortment.
