Just got this regarding the club bragging rights competition at SCHF.
At yesterday's CHA meeting it was decided to expand the Bragging Rights Competition style to include all the reds within the BJCP style guide. With 68 days left before the fest you all should have time to brew the style you prefer. Sorry for any inconvenience.

And yet another update on this:
My bad. Let's restate the Boards intention from Saturday's meeting. All Red Ales will be allowed. After looking at the style guide closer I realize it's not category 9, but 9D Irish Red Ale, 17B Flanders Red Ale, 23 Specialty Beer/ Imperial Red Ale and anything recipe you can come up with for an American Red Ale. Sorry for all the confusion.

I would say yes, Chris. I wish these guys would at least pretend to know what the BJCP style guide is. I heard from the guy at SCHF that is sending out the notices, Spencer, and he was really apologetic.
