There was a thread on HBT about "Dont buy from stir-plate(dot)com" Turns out that Tom Hargrave from kegkits(dot)com came out with a new stir plate and registered stir-plate(dot)com. If you're not aware of this guy, he's a huge ripoff. There is a multi-page thread about him on HBT with several posters saying they went as far as to report him to their attorney generals and the BBB etc. Scores more had to file complaints with PayPay refunds. Seems he's an expert at low prices and then stroking you along forever and then maybe shipping your order in 6-8 weeks.

Anyway, if you're out cruising the other boards and you come across a 'don't buy from stir-plate.com" I'd appreciate it if you could mention that my stirplates.com ( i also own stirplate.com) website has nothing to do with that guy and I'm not out to rip everyone off.

Yeah, I have heard some bad things about that guy. Sucks that he could screw up your reputation and possibly hurt business.
