Coronado Brewing Company
The Mrs. and I went to Coronado Brewing Company on Coronado Island in San Diego the other night. We sat at the bar since that's the best way to get free beer when at a brew pub. The food was great, the service was great (thanks to Pete, the bartender), and the beer was good. The Island IPA was outstanding, with a great aroma from Centennial and Columbus hops and the right balance of malt and hops for an American IPA. Also tried their Red Devil, a West Coast red ale. It was good, but not as good as the IPA. Also tried various other beers, none of which were not bad, but none as good as the IPA. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are ever on the island - which is a really nice place for a weekend getaway.

+1. Neat little place. Wife and I went there a few years back.
