Motorized Barley Mill
The following video shows the Barley Mill that Eric and I came up with to use in his store. Next time you visit Addison Homebrew Provisions, check it out.
The motor is 1/3 hp and the pulleys gear down to rotate the mill at 500 RPM. This will crush the grain at about 6 lbs. per minute.

The high def video was shot, edited and narrated by Unruly Fellows Video Production.

If you're thinking about building a mill, let me know if you have any questions about where to buy the parts.

Love the commentator. Was waiting for the standard, "If you call in now, we'll throw in yet another Motorized Barley Mill, and not only that, we'll also throw in this revolutionary pet hair removal glove" or something like that.
Awesome video!

Thanks for the "thumbs up" and the comments.
It was a fun project. I hope Eric gets a lot of use out of it.
