Leaking false bottom

Post by jward »

The false bottom/mash screen on my 1550 has always leaked more then I would like. I was getting by with a poorly rigged stainless braided hose under the screen. I had tried to use a hose cut length wise as a gasket. I just tried a length of silicone tube laid on the screen in the corner a tiny bit longer to put it under a bit of compression to help it stay in place. It worked very well.
