Folding/rolling metal

This is for Lyn but I figured others might benefit from any discussion:

With the equipment you have, can you create a flanged SS sleeve to jacket the cylindro part of a conical? Something with a cross section like this but then rolled to fit around the conical and welded in place?

A few ?????'s

What's it for?
What part of a conical would this go on?
Is it going to be full round or just in 3 or 4 places that come in contact? will it be a screen or collander type?
Is it an X, T Y frame and how wide?

Could you try and draw something and scan it?

Or is it a brace? That would be the simplest, a y the next and an x last. Fullly round in contact would be the hardest and needs some sort of drawing machine that I don't have access to. Maybe RPM would know?

Uuummmmm yeah.

I'll draw you a picture next time I see you. It doesn't sound like something that would be easy to do without a fixture or dies.

Lyn, it looks like a glycol jacket: similar to PMR's "smaller" fermenters.
