Re: 2019 America's Finest City Homebrew Competition
Always liked the AFC competition.. they have given out cool medals in the past.
Anyone planning on a run down to Alesmith to drop off bottles? I'd rather hand mine over for a drive, than ship them.

Re: 2019 America's Finest City Homebrew Competition
For those who have tried my barrel aged American barley-wine, what category would you suggest?
22C - American Barleywine
33A - Wood-Aged Berer
33B - Specialty Wood-Aged Beer
Even though I used used brandy-barrel wood chips to flavor my beer, I dont' get enough of the brandy character to think it a 33B. And, it is not a pure 22C because the oak flavors are noticable and enjoyable. I'm leaning towards 33A, but would love any other thoughts...
