I cannot find the result of the competition on their website. I checked my entry and received a score, but nothing about where it placed or anything else. Anyone know when the results will be posted?

Congrats Mr. Hempy on a 2nd place for your Vienna.

Looks like my dry cider did the trick at this one.

Here are the results.

I noticed that TVHA wasn't pimping club affiliations.

Thanks gents.

Props to TVHA for a quick turnaround on the scoresheets, medal and prizes. Prizes were 2oz of Halertauer, 1oz of Woodruff and 2 oz of Elderflowers. The last two go to the first person to offer a bottle of homebrew. :happybeer:

lol...I was trying to be a bit more subtle, but I guess that didn't work. Heck for a couple bottles of that pale ale, I'd give up the halertauer, too.

:D he he ... just didn't want to look greedy! I'll put together a few bottles for you Tim...

The elder flowers I know what to do with. The woodruff however... looked through Buhner's "Sacred & Herbal Healing Beers", but could not find anything yet. But, found a Wiki entry that gave me some info... going to have to research a bit on that one...

Congrats again!

I think in Berlin they add a woodruff syrup to their Berliner Weisse offerings. Not sure what to do with it in a dry form...

Make woodruff syrup and a Berliner Weisse I suppose!

Cheers!
