OC Fair Home Brew VIP Party??

I heard that they are not having the party this year because it got too big. has anyone else heard that? I will prob still enter, but the party was tons of fun.

Awards Ceremony: Held during the OC Fair on the Exhibit Promenade
stage between the Home Arts and Visual Arts Galleries. Award-winning
home brewers and participating judges will be available for questions.
OC Fair admission ticket is required to attend the ceremony. Winners
will be contacted with the detailed information

I called Julie and she confirmed that there will not be a private party this year but they are considering some kind of after party for the brewers.

Jesus, I had no clue this had come up so quickly. Enter by May 4, dropoff by May 12? I guess I'd better get to bottling ASAP.

I heard it was Sunday August 5th... but I can't find it in the official PDF either, so I may be wrong.

I received this email from the O.C. Fair Homebrew organizers.

Homemade Beer Competition party.
The party is only open to competition winners, judges, stewards. Spouses and significant others are welcome as well
We will be celebrating, and hopefully getting a chance to taste your award winning beers, Saturday July 7th from 11:00 till 3:00 at Out of the Park Pizza.
The owners are closing the place just for us. Food will be available at a discounted cost.

Just a reminder, the official Fair winners announcement for the competition will be on August 5th at the Fair.
