Where to buy propane burners?

I'm building another stove to use with propane gas instead of natural gas.
I need a "traveling stove" that can brew with anywhere I go.
Any suggestions on what type of burner to use and where to get them?

I'm not sure if I can pipe these the same way as natural gas using black pipe and a ball valve. Need to find out how much pressure the ball valves are good for.

Um, those are natural gas burners, not propane. They will only work with propane with a lot of modification and frustration.

On another note... with propane, I'd use a needle valve NOT a ball valve to control the gas.

The best way is a single reg on the propane tank and then individual adjustable regs for each burner. That way you minimize the pressure drop across burners when more than one is firing.

As Lars pointed out, those are NG burners and will not work with propane, even low pressure propane.

If it matters, my system uses propane with banjo burners, ball valves and a single regulator. Sure, the pressure can drop if I run all three at full throttle, but I typically just run one.

I guess I was in too big of a hurry to post a picture and I grabbed the natural gas burner picture instead of the propane. I did buy the propane. Good catch you guys.
BackYardBrewer recommends a regulator at each burner. Are these the type with the rubber hose attached or can I get them to use with iron pipe?

They can be, there is a lot of ways to do it depending on the pressure you're going to operate at and such. A single regulator is more practical and the way almost all commercial systems work. Unless you're automating, it's probably overkill since you'll be adjusting each burner as you light it anyway.

My system has a single 15PSI reg with stainless braided hose as an input and then single 0-15psi regs at each burner.

Right now I'm experimenting, or will be when I can actually brew beer on this. I have a hurricane burner, a smaller low pressure propane burner and a typical turkey style ring burner.

My kettles are 15 gallon, I intend to out 11G in the fermenter.

Stop by when you're bored and I'll just show you.

I plan on all Banjo burners unless tis smaller LP propane burner impresses me. I thought I'd be doing a burn test today, but time wasn't on my side.

I am designing a brew sculpture and am leaning towards the banjo burners with 30# regulator and needle valves on each burner.
This should be more than enough for any size kettle I put on it while still being able to use 8 gallon if desired.
BTW, vanilla cream ale is ready and there are a couple bottles with your name on them
