Happy Thanksgiving! What's up today? I have a turkey on the smoker and dressing in the oven. Only 6 of us celebrating at my house this year. I wish the red ale were ready for drinking. I guess it's cream ale time.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

I have my wife's family over for dinner. A turkey just came out of the oven, a spiral cut ham is in the fridge, stuffing, cranberry chutney & squash casserole. Yumm!

My partial-mash Pale Ale is going well with the starters. Hope to bring out my spiced Holiday Brown Ale somewhere tonight! Might also bring out a mead...

My big extended family celebration is tomorrow, so today the wife and I took the kids and met her parents and grandfather at 5 Crowns in CDM. They all got turkey, and I ate prime rib. I think I made the better choice

As an aside, I ordered a Rogue McRogue Scotch Ale, and was not very impressed. I didn't pay enough attention to submit a full review, but it seemed way too dry and a bit thin in the mouthfeel for a scotch ale.

My brother made an excellent smoked turkey and I enjoyed that with a couple Unibroue Trader Joe years and an original Autumn Maple (which was still flat). The good part was the 2006 TJ's was way too carbonated for my liking but blended with the Autumn Maple was excellent.

We had family and friends over for dinner and homebrew.
We started with an American Hefeweizen and some Blonde Ale.
Mealtime included an English Pale Ale, Steam Beer and IPA.
After dinner was the Old Man Winter, Biere de Garde and Honey Stout.
Everyone had fun tasting the different styles and discovering which one they liked the best.
Some of us enjoyed them all.
Now for the clean up
