Anyone brewing this weekend?

I'm finally going to brew this year's imperial stout tomorrow. If I have time on Sunday I might brew an amber ale as well. I've got too many long term project beers right now and I'm running out of beer that's ready to drink.

I'd really like to, but my shed is a wreck right now and I need to do some much needed brewery maintenance.

Ah yes... that's bad. That's why you need to stock up on ingredients so you can brew on a whim.

Not this weekend. After this weekend's transfer, I'll be out of empty kegs. I guess that's not such a bad thing though.

What I really need to do is get serious about bottling the 4 kegs of cider that are in it for the long haul.

Brent, I assume the RIS is happening tomorrow...mind if I stop by?

Yes, I am sure I will be doing that eventually, but I don't think I am there yet. Just doesn't seem like it would work for a new extract brewer, that is broke, with no real preferred style to brew yet.

I have a couple bags of LME that I won't use and just might stop by Lyn's tonight. If I go over there, I'll leave them with him.

You guys are welcome to come by tomorrow while I brew the RIS and check out my ultra manual brewery. I will warn you that I don't have a whole lot of space to hang out with all my brewing stuff on the balcony. There's room for a few chairs though.

I've got a late hockey game tonight so I probably won't get started until around 10 tomorrow. Shoot me a PM or an email if you want to come over and I'll give you my phone and address if you don't already have them. I may be able to swing by Lyn's for a bit before I head off to hockey.

I'm sort of brewing tomorrow. I am making five gallons of starter wort then canning it. Pretty exciting stuff.

I'm making 15 gallons of a milk stout and 10 gallons of an extract hefeweizen today... This will be over at my brother-in-law's house in Yorba Linda.

Email me if anyone wants to come over and see a brewery that's probably even more manual than Brent's!

Mmm, this stuff is running off like motor oil. It's going sooooo slow though...this is going to take forever. :/

Gotta wait a bit to get some hot water to thin the mash out.
