Newport Beach Brewing just posted this years home brew comp on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/NewportBrewCo# ... ?sk=events I won the last one and currently have the IPA I brewed on their system on tap. Cool event divided into 3 rounds and the 3 round winners do a final brew off to determine the winner. If your in the area check out my "Disorder in the House IPA" and let me know what you think.

If you can provide some details (e.g. Entry Date, Comp Date, a comp link, dropoff point, fees, # of bottles, etc.) I'll update the calendar (or tell me where I can see the details).

I will post some more specifc info when I get home, however Newport Breach Brewing does almost all thier updates on Facebook.

I understand about them using Facebook but not everybody trusts Facebook with their privacy policy (or lack thereof).

Regardless when I click on the link it is a blank page .. no details etc. so I cannot update the calendar (which I am happy to do once I have the data ).

Yes, the winning brewer still brews their own winning recipe from their round, but the overall winner is based on a specifc recipe given by the brewer.

I know this is a zombie thread now, but I really want to start entering comps and this seems like a good place to start. I really can't find any other information on the event that is listed as happening on the 21st. Is it still happening? Any forms to fill out or specific bottling / labeling restrictions?
