Newport Beach Brewing Co.
Newport Beach Brewing just posted this years home brew comp on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/NewportBrewCo# ... ?sk=events I won the last one and currently have the IPA I brewed on their system on tap. Cool event divided into 3 rounds and the 3 round winners do a final brew off to determine the winner. If your in the area check out my "Disorder in the House IPA" and let me know what you think.

If you want I will add this the calendar so everyone can see BUT when I click on the link I don't get any details (and I'm not a Facebook user)
If you can provide some details (e.g. Entry Date, Comp Date, a comp link, dropoff point, fees, # of bottles, etc.) I'll update the calendar (or tell me where I can see the details).
Thanks.

I understand about them using Facebook but not everybody trusts Facebook with their privacy policy (or lack thereof).
Regardless when I click on the link it is a blank page .. no details etc. so I cannot update the calendar (which I am happy to do once I have the data ).

Yes, the winning brewer still brews their own winning recipe from their round, but the overall winner is based on a specifc recipe given by the brewer.backyard brewer wrote:BARL Brewing wrote:interesting. Re: Newport Beach Brewing Co.
I know this is a zombie thread now, but I really want to start entering comps and this seems like a good place to start. I really can't find any other information on the event that is listed as happening on the 21st. Is it still happening? Any forms to fill out or specific bottling / labeling restrictions?
Re: Newport Beach Brewing Co.
I think the best thing would be to contact NBBC directly. Phone: (949) 675-8449
You can also try a PM to threefrenchs as he is the one that brought it up.
What we have on our calendar is what is on their Facebook Page (last I checked).

Here's the direct link. It shows up in "Past Events" if you look at NBBC's Facebook page, so this is the link straight to the event:Bishoff wrote:I know this is a zombie thread now, but I really want to start entering comps and this seems like a good place to start.
