Brewing plans

Post by lexuschris »

Just kicked my keg of Belgian Pale... found a half-empty keg of my Dark Mild to put back on the tap. I'm hoping to get in my first Kolsh brewed in the next couple of weeks. Always wanted to try one of them!

What is everyone brewing & drinking these days?

Keezer:
Rye blonde
IPA
Imp. Milk stout
Gose
Patersbier
Apfelwein

Fermenting/aging:
Oktoberfestbier
Club barrel aged tripel (sure, not in my possession yet, but close enough for government work)

On deck:
Schwarzbier
Session IPA

Planning on having most of these available for my O-fest. I do expect the IPA and Patersbier to be empty by then though.

I brewed twice last Friday. First batch was an Ordinary Bitter. Second batch was a Vienna Lager with WLP838 that I got from one of the fermenters at Hangar 24.

On tap right now I have an American Pale Ale and a Cream Ale. Kegs in the chest freezer include Rye IPA, American IPA, Helles, and Blonde Ale.

I have an oatmeal stout that came out more like a sweet stout. Half is on vanilla bean an cocoa nibs. I have some barrel aged barley wine on tap too. I will probably bottle it all. I have been itching to brew both Red ale and american hefe/wheat.
