Fest of Ales - Saturday 09/21/13
Pacific Brewers Cup – Due to a shortage of judges, the entries are still being judged
Officer Nominations – be thinking of candidates
SCHF Campsite Reservations – too early yet
Christmas Party
Homebrew Day – Jward volunteered, it was mentioned someone else might be on the hook for it already
Oktoberfest – possible unofficial gathering at either Old World or Phoenix Club
Water: A Comprehensive Guide for Brewers (Brewing Elements) – check Amazon for low price
Brad Nixon gave Style Presentation – Oktoberfest beers, BJCP Category 3B
Examples; Spaten, Paulaner, Hangar 24, Sam Adams
Brad also talked about brewing his Schwartzbier on Hangar 24’s system

Homebrews Shared:
Trinity Ale Works (Sam, Brian B., and Paul) served a Blonde Ale and a Rye IPA.
JonW served an American Amber and an English Mild.
JWard served an Hefeweizen and an Oktoberfest Ale.
Dan and Mike served two different Saisons, an American Lager, and a Habanero Lager.
