The HB Independent newspaper came over on 9/21 to join Brian and I for a brew day. The link below is the article that they did.
(For the record I never said I boiled the grain. )

I've also let the reporter (Anthony) know about the brew day at Beach Cities Brewery on 11/2. Since he covers all of HB, he said he'd put it on his calendar to cover.

Re: HB Independent article on home brewing
Since I put my hops in "cups" lined up on the counter, I think that is what he was referring to. I really wish he would have let me review the article before they published. I would have corrected/clarified a few things.
The APA I was brewing used DHEMPY's fresh cascade hops - all 9 oz of them. It was a pretty serious hop pile in the bottom of the BK when we were done.

Nice article! Good to see homebrewing getting such favorable coverage!
Anyone interested in participating in a cable show on homebrewing? Brewcommune has been approached, so I am looking into it... more to follow..

That guy called me and we spoke on the phone for a bit. Nice guy, but then he started talking Abbott the white house beer and kinda lost me.

(my last post got lost in a computer mishap .. reposting from memory.. let me know if you find it in another thread or something)
Actually, I only just got an email from the producer in LA today, and he was saying it would be about homebrew competitions. I replied with some questions about his project, but he seems to be a legit cable 'lifestyle' series producer. We should learn more shortly.
