2014 CA State Fair Homebrew Competition

Registration Open: Now -> May 2, 2014 - NOTE: Max 750 entries, so if they fill up, you're SOL.
Drop-Off Locations: Morebeer Riverside, Ballast Point San Diego
Drop-Off Dates: TBD, but likely between May 2 and May 16. Dates will be posted here eventually.
Cost: $12/entry (must pay via Paypal if you're dropping of to SoCal locations)
Bottle Req't: 3x 12oz bottles per entry
Awards: Rubicon brewing will select one or several first place beers and brew them for the CA State Fair Brewfest. Selectees will be invited to Rubicon to watch the beer being brewed and will be given 10 free gallons of the beer. If Rubicon at some point in the future chooses to bottle & distribute the beer, selectee will be mentioned as collaborator.

Unique: Three additional categories:
14D: Specialty IPA
29: Chili Beer
30: Session Beer < 5% ABV

Just found out that my German Pilsner got first place in category 2 at State Fair. That's two first place finishes for that beer (Mayfaire) in the past few weeks.
