2014 BJCP Style Guidelines

Take a look at these slides from a presentation that was apparently given at the AHA conference on the 2014 Style Guidelines.

I think the changes mostly make sense, although some are a little baffling. If you think it's hard to judge the Specialty category, wait until you're trying to judge the Clone Beers category.

I love that they'll be grouping beers for similarity in judging rather than by style family.

I do wonder whether Historical will be broken out into sub-categories... After all, I don't want to limit myself to a single entry if I have both a Gose and a Roggenbier available at the same time... :happybeer:
