I was searching around for beer clubs and found your website, my name is Tim and I've been drinking great craft beer for years now. My buddies keep encourageing me to try brewing my own. So I've really started thinking about it.
I brewed one batch in the mid 90's that was ok. It wasn't good enough to try again so I just stuck with commercial beer. I'm looking at trying to start small but as with anything I do, I tend to get carried away quickly. I took a class at Northern Brewer in Milwaukee last month and now am trying to figure out what my first beer to brew should be? I have plenty of bottles but with a home built three tap kegerator am thinking why not just keg?
If you're already set up for kegging, then just go with kegging. Bottling is a pain. You can also bottle off a keg, so if there's reasons you want to bottle, kegging doesn't stop you (and it's actually better, as you can have clearer beer when you force-carbonate in the keg).
Hi gang, I'm new to the group and I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cesar but my friends call me Zee. Im new to the whole home brewing culture and I love it. Wanted to join this club to learn as much as I can about home brewing. I plan to attend the club meeting on Tuesday, hope to meet some of you in person. Cheers!
Please note that the meeting location has changed to the Anaheim location of the Out of the Park Pizza. I would hate to have new guys show up for their first meeting at the wrong location.
Hi gang.....thank you all for making me feel welcome at my first ever meeting. I just paid for my membership! Hope to meet/get to know all of you eventually. Cheers!

Welcome Zee! Glad you were able to make it to the meeting last night. Check back on the forums periodically for upcoming club events and brew days.
