OK, the Grand Opening in this Saturday. We're shooting for 6 pm-ish? Anyone interested?

Actually got a hall pass to take the train down to Solana Beach and go brewery-hopping with buddies, so I'm out.

Tried to go over there around 7:30. Tiny place that was too crowded, understandably on opening night.

I'll try again in a few weeks.

I got there around 7, right when Maltose Parrot was leaving. It was packed and I decided to try it another time. There's not a lot of seating, which is understandable with a brewery, kitchen, and cold room all packed into that small space.

They have three fermentors. One was empty, one had the blow-off bucket was raging, and the third fermentor the bucket was still. One of the staff said the IPA will be on soon.
The only beer of theirs on tap was a Honey Kölsch. Dang tasty one too! I saw up in the rafters there was a home brew stand with keggles.
