From time to time we have discussions as to who actually owns some of our favorite breweries. Well, the BA has just released its list of the top 50 breweries in the US complete with footnotes that may help us figure all this out.

Constellation is listed in the footnotes as the owner of Ballast Point. I believe it's based on beer brewed in the US which might explain why Constellation isn't listed on its own.

I did not see Constellation in there, and would have thought they would be....
