Re: Beervent
Maybe you could add a post with some details for folks who haven't done it (and to remind everyone how it works) - time, place, what to bring, etc. - you could simply copy one of Maltbarley's older posts - I think folks are generally interested - it's great fun, low stress, and usually well-attended?
Re: Beervent
Sounds like fun, but this year it overlaps with Brew Ho Ho

Re: Beervent
Forget Christmas shopping it is time for:
Beervent, at my house, 3844 casselle av, Orange, Saturday, 10 am
Bring 24 commercial beers to exchange, go home home with 24 beers, that is beers to last to New Years Eve!
Everyone's beer they brought will be a line, front to back, so what ever number of people come will be that many lines, we go from left to right taking a beer from each line to take home, will have to adjust accordingly to how may people show up.
Since there might be less than 24 people, I suggest bringing 2-4 different beer types, so we don't have a lot of repeats, eg. if 6 people show with 4 different beers, 4 different six packs, each person will have the same beer selection, if 12 people show with 2 different beers, each person will have the same beer selection, and so on.
Definitely bring any commercial or homebrew to share, maybe we will rank the top 5 favorites
Also, bring whatever tasty food item you might like to contribute
I will probably smoke something, Hah
See you all here!

Re: Beervent
....aaand, me, too. I'll show up with 24 delicious beers. Big thanks to Tim for putting up with us all, looking forward to it.
Sure, Brew Ho Ho is the same day, but (a) BHH starts at noon, (b) it's 2 oz pours, that's not even enough to get your tongue wet, (c) I quit listening to Elton John before you were born, Curtis, lol....I'll be going to Tim's instead!

Re: Beervent
Thanks Tim! Burgers were great and a nice chat around the table over beers was fun.
