brewcommune July Meeting - Tuesday 7/22 @ 7:00pm

Post by maltbarley »

Here it is, the highly debated and long awaited July club meeting announcement!

This Tuesday night, 7:00pm at the Tustin Brewing Company.

Bring:
- a couple bottles of homebrew
- a few bucks for food, tip and TBC brew
- a friend, co-worker, brew-bitch, spouse or any combination of those

I hope to see you all there!

Thanks for getting this set up Tim. See you there. Are you bringing your Amber Ale for comparison? I may just fill a growler from the tap rather than trying to fill and cap some bottles.

Why bother? You'll get to watch the #1 MLB team make one of the worst teams look like #1 and get a free poster.

So when do we get to sample your brew?

Excellent question. I kegged the first 5 gallons last night. Pretty tasty, if you like a beer that finishes at 1.009SG. I'll keg the second 5 gallons, I hope, on Wednesday evening.
Maybe we should have another "meeting" in the next couple of weeks where all we have to do is sample the 3 beers and generally enjoy beer? Do we want to have some of the BJCPers blind judge them?

We should have the BJCP "potential and current" and non-BJCP judge them separately and compare results. All done blind. It should be instructional for both sides.

Cheers,
