Brewcommune Club Meeting 11/18

Post by BrewMasterBrad »

The Brewcommune November club meeting will be Tuesday, November 18 at 7pm at Backstreet Brewery in Irvine. The Executive Board will meet at 6:30. Dave Moody will be our gracious host. If we are lucky, maybe he will share some of his double dry-hopped IPA with us. Please bring some of you own homebrew samples. I look forward to seeing you all at the meeting.

Brewcommune President

I would like to remind everyone that this meeting is our election meeting. If you are not present to vote, you may vote by proxy up until the day of the meeting, as per the by-laws:
1.4.1 Officers shall be elected by a majority vote of the membership at the Regular Meeting held in November of each year, and shall hold office for one year, beginning with their installation at the Annual Business Meeting held in January of each year.

--

1.4.4 Vote by Proxy is allowable for those unable to attend the November Regular Meeting by post in the Club Only Cheers Forum prior to or on the election date. No votes by any means will be accepted after the election date.
So, if ya ain't gonna make it to the meeting, please cast your ballot in the COC Forum.

This would be a great place to keep track (in the database) so we can tell who has voted (preventing double votes (once online and once at the meeting). I know that there are only single candidates for each position but that may not always be the case.

I think we should all vote on the forum, that way the votes are tallied automatically.

Hey guys - this meeting kind of snuck up on me. It had nothing to do with the two day notice or anything... I had been thinking we were going to take a pass this month's regularly scheduled meeting in lieu of the December party. Anyway, I am going to try to make it by tonight. I am still dead ass tired from staying up all night Saturday on fire watch. I live in a trailer park and as we all know they have a much higher rate of getting hit by disasters than your average home. We were loaded up and ready for anything. I could see the flames from my porch heading straight towards us! Luckily the winds died down and shifted to the North..

All excuses aside, I will try to make it, but will have to wait until tonight to see how perky my liver is feeling...

(it's feeling pretty good right now actually... )

Cheers!

Hope you guys had a great meeting. Sorry I couldn't make it. We're trying to find a new daycare and had to meet with one of them last night. I would have much preferred to be hanging out drinking beer.
