Corny kegs - $30 each

Post by JonW »

There is a listing on both Craigslist and PrimaryFermenter.com listing cornies for $30 each.

I e-mailed the guy (Carl) and he called me up to chat. He is out of AZ and said he bought a ton of these at an auction in Texas and is selling them off. He said he recently brought a load of cornies out to OC & SD and is now looking to do another load. He can bring 250 max cornies.

You do not pay for the cornies until you pick them up. All he is doing now is collecting names & quantities to build the order to bring out.

This sounds like a great deal. I put in for 10.

I saw the ad; thanks for posting the background. I assume they are still syrup laden?

He said they are rinsed, but still need full cleaning and may need o-rings. They will come pressurized though.

I talked to the owner of the Torrance homebrew store today and he bought a bunch from him a couple of weeks ago. He said they were decent condition and well worth the money.

Any idea if there are more of these available? I need to replace one ...
