MiniDV Camcorder
Does anyone have a MiniDV Camcorder that I can borrow? I have an interview I did with my 98 year old grandmother that I recorded a few months ago. My camera has since developed some issues and I need to get the recording onto my computer. I don't want to buy another MiniDV camera just for that purpose.

I've got one Brad. I haven't fired it up in quite some time, but it should be operational.

Awesome. If I don't have time to get it before Wednesday, I will pick it up when I get back from GABF. I will PM you so we can make arrangements. Thanks.JonW wrote:I've got one Brad. I haven't fired it up in quite some time, but it should be operational.

I have one as well, just in case.

I'm glad I thought to ask the club for help on this. I was getting really frustrated trying to come up with a solution for this problem. You guys are awesome.

I do as well, but you need XP to get out to your PC. Stupid Panasonic.

Interesting. I have a Panasonic as well and it's been a couple years since I used it to download anything. I'll have to plug it into Win7 and see what it does.maltbarley wrote:I do as well, but you need XP to get out to your PC. Stupid Panasonic.

My Firewire card is in my XP machine anyways, so it doesn't matter. I will just save it all to a network drive and do the editing in my Win8 machine.
